Local Meal Deals for Kids {Updated}

Sometimes you need a night out from cooking! If you’re looking for a family-friendly dining experience, I’ve put together some of my picks, plus deals where the kids can eat free (or at least cheap!).

Restaurants with Special Deals for Kids:


Alfy’s Pizza
(Monroe): Kid’s Night is Tuesdays from 5-8pm where kids can get a 2-topping personal pizza or spaghetti and meatballs, plus a drink for only $1.99!

Big Fish Grill (Woodinville): Receive one FREE kid’s meal with each paying adult on Mondays.

Buzz Inn Steakhouse (Monroe):Kids eat FREE on Sunday nights from 5pm – close.

Carnation Café (Carnation): This is a neighborhood cafe for creative comfort food.  Kids eat FREE on Tuesdays after 5pm (limit 2 kids per adult).  There are other specials during the week, as well.

Denny’s (Monroe): Kids eat FREE on Tuesday and Saturday nights from 4-10 pm with a paying adult.

Pallino Pastaria (Redmond & Woodinville locations): Kids eat FREE on Wednesdays and Sundays with an adult entrée purchase of $5.95 or more.

Red Robin (Monroe, Woodinville & Redmond locations): Crazy décor, balloons for the kids… and, the Rewards Program  expanded to include kids and teens! Now everyone can get a free burger during their birthday month, discounts and freebies for frequent dining and other special deals.

Restaurants with Kid Menus
:

Bella Balducci’s (Monroe): Affordable Mediterranean cuisine for the adults with a more standard kid’s menu. Bonus – they occasionally have belly dance performers!

Big Daddy John’s (Monroe): one of Monroe’s newest spots on Lewis St. serving up hearty portions of ribs, southern favorites and mouth-watering burgers!  Bonus – family owned and super friendly staff

Big Dog’s (Monroe): A great mid-day meal stop, this hot dog stand offers gourmet dogs for adults and kids alike – think creative takes on your classic to Sriracha and cream cheese.  Bonus – this is the only place to get these kind of dogs outside of Safeco or Century Link fields!

Five Guys Burgers & Fries (Monroe): Famous for its fresh ingredients and delicious burgers and fries, they now have a location in Monroe between Fred Meyer & Galaxy 12 theater! Bonus – foodie parents, this place is Zagat rated.

Grange Café (Duvall): A sophisticated menu for adults and pizza, mac ‘n cheese or burgers for the kids. Bonus – ingredients are organic and sourced locally and there’s a play area for the kids!

Ixtapa (locations in Carnation, Duvall, Redmond Ridge, Monroe & Sultan): offers Mexican and American favorites for kids.  Bonus – entrée portion sizes are so large, young children can eat for free off your plate!

Lazy K’s (Carnation): offers personal pizzas and pasta dishes for kids. Bonus – if you get the “Big Fork” in your dining utensils, your table gets a free Cow Pie (their addictive molten chocolate chip cookie a la mode)!

Pickle Time (Duvall): The menu features a large variety of burgers, wraps and smoothies, and some fun add-ons like friend pickles and sweet potato fries.  Bonus – the kids will love coloring their own pickle person to join the hundreds already adorning the walls!

Red Pepper Pizza (Duvall): This favorite pizza spot is locally owned and Steve & Lorna are BIG supporters of the community and our schools. Bonus – they cater and offer a party space.

Tuscano’s Italian Kitchen (Monroe): Italian favorites, daily specials and your non-profit organization can dine here and earn money for your group. Bonus – kids get a made-to-order table side sundae for dessert
