Sleeping Lady Resort Review

Perfect for babymoons and beyond!

By by Bianca Tarleton, Blogger at ThePierogieMama November 14, 2013
My husband and I are expecting our second child in March (our Penny is going to have a little sister!) and one tradition that we decided that we'd like to keep for each pregnancy is to go on a "babymoon" before the baby comes.

Babymoons are becoming the latest craze in the expectant parenting world. It's a time where you and your co-parent whisk yourselves away for a period of reflection, preparation and dare I say .. a last hurrah .. before your little one arrives.

We were treated to a weekend away at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort in Leavenworth a couple weekends ago, and it couldn't have been a more perfect experience!  Between relaxing and reconnecting, we also dined like a king and queen at Sleeping Lady's to-die-for buffet (which features all locally sourced ingredients, many are organic) and I was pampered to perfection at their in-house salon for a prenatal massage.

Like what you're hearing? Settle in with a cup of tea (or coffee!) and let's visit for a while.  Read more about my babymoon at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort.
