Tolt Montessori is a small nonprofit home-based preschool and kindergarten. We believe the outdoors are essential to life and human development. We have a school dog named Neptune and children spend as much or as little time outdoors as they desire. We raise chickens and gather eggs. We do chores. We keep things clean and take care of ourselves and each other; learning social and physical independence under careful guidance from teachers and student leaders.
