Teen Art Contest!

Hosted by the Sultan Library

By Melinda Larke - Cherry Valley Macaroni Kid Publisher and Editor November 2, 2017

Calling all local teen artists! The Sultan Library is hosting a teen art contest for grades 6-12. This year’s theme is “Local Inspiration,” artwork inspired by a person, building, place, landmark, or any kind of object.

Entries must be two-dimensional and displayed on 8.5”x11” paper. They must be submitted to the Sultan Library by November 30 and must include your name, contact information, and a signed parental permission form which is available at the library and some community locations. All the art will be displayed at the Sultan Library during the month of December and then returned to the artists. Three winners and one popular vote will receive a $25 gift card to a local book store.

I am excited to visit the Sultan Library in December and see all the spectacular art! Supported by the Friends of the Sultan Library.
