PopUp StoryWalk is Back at the Brightwater Center!

In Woodinvlle, until April 14, 2019

March 28, 2019

PopUp StoryWalk is a fun, educational activity targeted towards children ages 2-10 that places a children’s story (deconstructed book page by page) along a family-friendly trail, combining the joy of reading with an adventurous outing among nature. It is a creative idea used to motivate parents, teachers and caregivers to take young children outdoors, inspiring a love of physical activity, reading, and learning. PopUp StoryWalk will rotate a variety of children’s books as it travels to different destinations. They hope to inspire families to follow their installations and experience a new featured book, in a new location, every season.

Until April 14th PopUp StoryWalk will be at the Brightwater Center in Woodinville!  This session will be featuring the story  The Water Princess by Susan Verde.  Families may come at their leisure and follow the North Habitat trail, over the bridge, and through the beautiful forest, reading along the way. If a stroller is necessary, a heavy duty stroller/jogger would be appropriate for the terrain. Umbrella strollers are not recommended.

Brightwater Center is located at  22505 State Route 9 SE Woodinville, WA 98072 and is open daily from dawn until dusk.  For more information please see here.
