Find Your Fall Family Fun at Remlinger Farms

By Melinda Larke - Cherry Valley Macaroni Kid Publisher September 24, 2020

It has arrived!  The changing and falling leaves, the cool and crisp air, school has begun and the kids are planning their epic Halloween costumes.  And, while you try to figure out how to make a spider costume from all the extras around your house (that was me last year), you are also planning the annual epic trip to the pumpkin patch.  Epic? Yes, epic!  You know every year we want that perfect pumpkin patch experience, the kind of experience our kids will remember for years.

I know where you can get that epic pumpkin patch experience!  Remlinger Farms and their Fall Harvest Pumpkin Festival!  Remlinger Farms Fall Harvest Pumpkin Festival runs for five consecutive weekends. With more rides, entertainment, feel good food and of course their great big U-Pick Pumpkin fields you'll make memories to last a lifetime. Among all the extravagant fall decorations and scarecrows, there are rides and attractions including the Cool Mine-Twister roller coaster, hand-led pony trail rides, antique car ride, Mini Ferris wheel, pedal go-carts, Flying Pumpkins, Spinning Barrels, canoe rides, and new this year are the Big Slide, Wreaking Ball, Star Gazer, Vintage Carousel, Whirly Bird, and Big Swing.  Sound epic?  Don’t forget about the food! The mouth-watering, fresh farm faire. The menu is complete with their own Mini Donuts (with real pumpkin flavoring), farm made pizza, Angus Hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs & Brats, caramel apples and kettle corn, just to get started. You can also take a little break from all the fun and grab a fresh quality lunch in the Railway Café featuring two electric trains circling above on 300-foot tracks. Oh yes, the favorites...homemade chili, scratch farm baked Pumpkin Bread, and farm apple pull-a-part breads! Epic, I tell you, EPIC!

Remlinger Farms wants you to have epic and safe fun and they have implemented some new procedures to make sure you are safe during your day at the farm.  Some highlights include -

  • Tickets must be reserved in advance.
  • Limitations on guest levels in the park
  • All staff and guests (ages 5+) will wear masks
  • Continual cleaning, including a deep clean each night
  • Floor markers at entrance, registers, market, restaurant, and all activities in the park
