Woodinville Country Day School was established in 1953. After 60 years of educating, the school moved to it's present campus in Woodinville. The school's new 4-acre facility now compliments an already amazing curriculum. We offer a Preschool Program for ages 2 1/2 - 5 years old, as well as Enrichment Programs and Summer Camps for various ages.
Our team of talented, professional early childhood educators support and develop your child’s love of learning. All of our teachers have college degrees and are experienced educators and life-long learners. We have a thematic preschool program specifically designed to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond. All of our preschool classes are 3 1/2 hours and maintain at least a 1:8 teacher to student ratio.
Our 3’s class meets twice a week. An optional "3rd Day for 3's" is also available beginning in October. We encourage socialization, following directions, and fostering friendships in a school setting. Strong emphasis is placed on socialization skills and exploring the world through art, music, and stories. Using a developmentally appropriate curriculum, our teachers guide each 3-year old toward a strong foundation for later academics.
Our 4-year old program meets three times a week and is designed for students with summer/early fall birthdays. The 4-year old class continues to learn actively through our thematic play-based program incorporating music, movement, early academics, art and concept times.
Our Pre-K program is for students who will enter Kindergarten the following year. As with the 4’s class, we take advantage of the 4-year olds’ ability to conceptualize and verbalize much greater than the 3-year olds, and our art and group times reflect this growth. Time and care goes into getting the Pre-K students ready for the fun and challenges of Kindergarten. Our Pre-K class is ideal for children ready to explore beginning math and reading concepts.

Our bright, spacious facility is organized to promote free movement between various centers.
Blocks, puzzles, table toys, playhouse, library, easel, play dough, and multiple art activities are available daily. More structured activities include group concept time, science, music, snack, and sharing. Our enormous outdoor area includes a playground, a mini city for ride-on toys (bring your helmet) and a recreation field. Our outdoor facilities are private (secure) and used daily, weather permitting. For the heavily rainy days, we utilize nearly 2500 square-feet of indoor space separate from our classrooms.

"I am so pleased that we have found Woodinville Country Day School. My daughter is excited for school every day. The teachers are friendly, caring and attentive. The activities that they do are very creative. When my daughter is engrossed in her play and not interested in the group activity, rather than pressuring her to join, they encourage her to explore what interests her. The outdoor play area is simply awesome - it is a kid's paradise! Tuition is very reasonable. They also offer a Parent's Night Out periodically, which is a really great idea. I can't say enough good things about this school. We love it!"
