A small and happy school, built upon the belief that children have a natural disposition for learning and an innate curiosity that, when intentionally and carefully nurtured, blossoms into a life-long love of learning.
Providing a rich, caring and creative environment where children are encouraged to follow their own interests and develop at their own pace.
Offering a unique opportunity for children to use the outdoors as a second classroom; engaging with small farm animals and tending a child friendly garden as part of the daily curriculum.

I've known Kira since my oldest son started in her 3's class in 2013. He graduated preK with her the following school year and now my youngest is in her preK class. Kira is a caring, kind, patient and attentive teacher. She has an incredible amount of experience and I'm convinced must have always been a natural with preschoolers. I've learned a great deal as a parent simply through seeing her interactions with children. She is gifted in seeming to know the perfect moment to draw out a child's curiosity about learning various skills. There is such a great balance of encouragement and assuredness in the classroom that each child's confidence soars at school and at home. She has a quality that I can't quite put a word to, except for "magic" as silly as that sounds, that just makes the entire 3's and preK experience a truly unforgettable time in your life and your child's.

My family absolutely loves Sunny Acres Preschool. From the small class sizes to the children's farm atmosphere and incredible natural playground, it's a great place to be a kid and have fun!!! Kira is one of those rare people who has truly found her passion in life - she was born to nurture tiny humans during their early formative years. I feel so fortunate to have found this amazing school for my kids.
